Mar 18, 2013 · I had the tires balanced and alignment fixed but the vibration still exists. There is a small little vibration in the steering wheel but nothing out of the ordinary. The gas pedal vibration happens similar to hellsbellsidaho's situation, above 20mph and whether the car is in neutral or drive. The only sensation of vibration and/or noise that I feel and/or is under moderate acceleration and the truck is in 3rd gear and going faster. To me it is just the acceleration of power being applied. I have only driven 2 other 2014 models, they seemed the same as my truck. To me the Tundra noise/vibration is closest to the RAM 5.7. I say mysterious because I wonder if it's there or not. When accelerating the hum does not appears to get louder, but is still notable. It is most notable between 30 and 50 miles mph, and sometimes I think I can feel a vibration in my gas pedal and floor when taking my foot off the accelerator. It does not seem to get worse at highway speeds.

The bolts on the u joints were all tight as were the bolts on the brackets holding the driveshaft up. You can feel the vibration in your seat and a little on the steering wheel. There is no vibration in the brake pedal when applying the brakes.
